As the CEO of Edara Property management -Subsidiary SODIC- since August-2018 , Ahmed Khamis is responsible for running all facets of company’s business development practices as he has a proven track records of projects management, with cost control skills and human resources management acumen and over 18 years of vast experience in construction management focusing on developing multi-billion projects’ operations and constructions management and also has extensive knowledge in budgeting and estimation of project-capital cost submittals, strategic planning, and contracting negotiations.
Prior to his current position in Edara he was the director of flagship projects in SODIC since October,2010 as he launched Caesar Project located in north coast, The Polygon and Allegria in west Cairo with notable high quality standards and delivery time efficiency despite of economic tough conditions. Prior to joining SODIC Ahmed spent five years as a director of project in Siemens executing several 5 stars hotels in located in Sharm El Sheikh, Makadi Bay & Hurghada demonstrating both leadership and significant dedications to the projects service level.
Before joining Siemens, he used to work as the project manager in Bin Laden Group in KSA leading the construction of King Abdelazziz International Airport considered as high-end project that excel highest level of professionalism as Bin Laden delegated him to manage part of the business in far east due to his pioneering expertise that shown in project management in a young age.
Ahmed is graduated from Architectural Engineering from Alexandria University, and certified in project management from Project Management Institute (PMI) and The Professional Program In Project Management (PRMG) and holds a certificate of Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
